Topical Vitamin C is a science-backed, dermatologist favorite ingredient that helps slow early skin aging, prevent sun damage and improve dark spots and acne. Vitamin C (L-ascrobic acid), is an antioxidant that fights harmful free radicals that come in contact with your skin from an external source like air pollution, or from inside the body as a result of normal biological processes. The higher the concentration of Vitamin C, the greater the antioxidant absorption rate and the greater the anti-aging effect.

Although topical vitamin C is generally well tolerated, all skin products have the potential to cause side effects like skin irritation. We recommend that you first test your reaction to high vitamin C concentration to see if any skin irritations will occur.
Step 1: Select a small area of skin that’s easy to conceal, like your forearm

It’s possible to have a skin reaction after repeat exposure, so it’s best to introduce new products one at a time, spaced out by a few weeks.
